I always find it interesting when and if someone asks me about what seems to be a mismatch between my body and my appetite.
Because I think about when and if I would ask someone—I selectively forget if I do in fact do so—and how I might ask. The how usually indicates how direct we can be with each other.
I am honest to an extreme fault, so I would rather someone ask the real question. But I understand why I might get more passive comments about where all the food I eat goes or I’m so lucky to be able to eat that much. It tends to be easier for everyone, however, if the person just lays their cards on the table and asks me what they actually want to know.
